The founding members of SWISS SUPPLY are the logistics, supply and transport organizations ASFL SVBL, ASTAG, GS1 Switzerland, procure.ch, SPEDLOGSWISS and Stiftung Logistik Schweiz as sponsors and VNL Switzerland as a normal member. After it was founded, three other members joined: ILS Intralogistik Schweiz, swisslifter and VAP cargorail.ch. Together, these organizations currently represent over 13 members. SWISS SUPPLY is considered by many other associations and organizations "Cooperation Partner" and national trade media unterstützt.

ASFL SVBL

The Swiss Association for Vocational Training in Logistics (ASFL SVBL), as an organization for the world of work (OdA), has been promoting the profession of logistician for over 30 years. The association also offers professional training in different areas and opportunities for advanced training with degrees up to a federal diploma.

The ASFL SVBL has 1 members and is represented across Switzerland in 100 training centers in all three language regions. Around 11 permanent employees, 70 freelancers and 140 speakers and experts work for the ASFL SVBL. In addition, ASFL SVBL is the leading provider of training for industrial trucks in Switzerland and has been training for forklift drivers since it was founded.

On behalf of its 3 members, the Swiss Commercial Vehicle Association ASTAG advocates the legitimate interests and concerns of road transport and the transport industry. In addition to commercial goods transport and company-owned transport, ASTAG also represents passenger transport with the two specialist groups Car Tourisme Suisse and taxisuisse.

As a competent contact for authorities, members, customers and partners, ASTAG is committed to solving all tasks in connection with motorized commercial vehicle traffic. In addition, ASTAG is highly committed to basic, vocational and advanced training. This is also intended to promote young talent and career planning, as well as to improve road safety and the image of the industry.

GS1 Switzerland

GS1 Switzerland is the professional association for sustainable value creation networks. The association enables solutions for more efficient value creation networks with the help of global standards. It supports companies in optimizing their flow of goods, information and values ​​and imparts practical knowledge.

Together with its currently more than 6 members, GS200 develops standards and process recommendations and creates benefits for everyone involved. At the same time, GS1 is a leading educational institution in the field of logistics, supply chain and demand management.

GS1 Switzerland is a neutral association based in Bern and part of the not-for-profit organization GS140, which is active in 1 countries.

As a national trade association for purchasing and supply management, procure.ch offers its 1 members professionally organized networking opportunities and specialist know-how. For 600 years, the goal has been to enable professionals of all functional levels for their demanding everyday work in procurement. The professional association makes a significant contribution to maintaining and improving the competitiveness of the Swiss economy.

Procure.ch promotes professional development in the field of procurement. It operates at the level of vocational and higher vocational training and creates connections with universities, carries out practice-oriented federal examinations on behalf of the federal government, actively maintains contacts with national and international organizations and promotes relationships and the exchange of experiences among members.

SPEEDLOGSWISS

SPEDLOGSWISS is the association of internationally active forwarding and logistics companies in Switzerland. The association is independent of the mode of transport and represents more than 95% of the freight forwarding industry in Switzerland. SPEDLOGSWISS represents the interests of over 340 member companies from the forwarding and logistics sectors.

A constructive and future-proof contribution to the economy and all of its participants requires a high level of economic, economic and ecological efficiency. This is only possible if suitable framework conditions are created and maintained. This is what SPEDLOGSWISS is intensely committed to.

SPEDLOGSWISS sees maintaining continuous contact with the media and authorities, with special interest groups and its member companies as one of its most important tasks.

Swiss Logistics Foundation

The Swiss Logistics Foundation is a charitable foundation within the meaning of Article 80 et seq. Of the Swiss Civil Code. It was donated by ten founders in 2015 and promotes reputation as well as education and professional career opportunities in the fields of supply, logistics and transport. This by supporting existing initiatives or by organizing new funding projects.

The foundation is the initiator and organizer of the Swiss Supply Chain Hall of Fame. Since 2015, this has been honoring personalities who have rendered outstanding services to the promotion and development of logistics. The Hall of Fame can be accessed virtually and online at www.shof.ch.

The foundation is the initiator and co-organizer of the new exhibition “Experience Logistics!” In the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, the most-visited museum in Switzerland.

Intralogistics Switzerland

Intralogistics Switzerland (ILS) is the association of Swiss companies that provide products and services in the field of intralogistics. This includes well over 100 companies whose activities range from conveying and lifting systems to material flow technology. Manufacturers of floor conveyors, system integrators, suppliers of control technology, warehouse technology, operating equipment and consulting firms in the field of intralogistics are also represented.

The goals of the ILS include maintaining contacts and exchanging experiences among members. It also serves as a networking platform and organizes events, courses and tours. The ILS represents the common economic, ideal and technical interests of the association members towards organizations, associations and authorities. Furthermore, the ILS is involved in the development of recommendations, orientation aids, leaflets and codes of conduct, quality and safety standards and takes on the coordination and communication of industry information that is important for ILS members.

swisslifter

swisslifter deals with questions about the forklift market, production, sales, customer service, occupational safety, accident prevention and quality assurance.

swisslifter carries the safety check sticker recommended by SUVA. The association protects all common interests of manufacturers, suppliers, suppliers of industrial trucks and forklift driving schools vis-à-vis the authorities, in particular SUVA, associations and third parties.

VAP

The VAP promotes rail freight transport. Since 1912, the VAP Association of the Shipping Industry has been campaigning for framework conditions in line with market conditions and an attractive Swiss rail freight system.

It represents around 300 companies from Switzerland and neighboring countries who, along with other modes of transport, rely on the railways.

With its practice-oriented association work, the VAP helps shippers and the logistics industry to minimize the effort involved in transporting goods by rail. With an active transport policy, he is committed to optimizing the economic and political framework so that the rail remains a worthwhile connection in the future.

Association for Network Logistics VNL Switzerland

The Network Logistics Association VNL Switzerland is committed to sustainable logistics. He builds a bridge between science and business. It is about imparting knowledge and implementing scientific know-how, research findings and technical innovations in companies. In addition, the VNL promotes the initiation of research projects by industry, trade and services as well as the transfer of research projects into supply chain and internal logistics solutions. With this strong focus on the practical application of research and innovations along the entire value chain.

The network, which was founded in 2008, sees itself as an interactive community that brings concrete benefits to the currently more than 200 members. The aim is to make Switzerland more competitive as a business location and to make logistics in all sectors more cost-efficient, customer-focused and sustainable.
