Record attendance at the 4th AGM of «Swiss Supply»

At the fourth general meeting of the Swiss support organization «Swiss Supply» On April 22, 2024, its founding director Andreas König handed over his office to his successor Marcus Hapig. Present at the AGM were “Swiss Supply» With almost 40 members, partners, guests and media representatives, more people than ever before.

The annual rendez-vous of the national supply, logistics, transport and procurement organizations, the general assembly of «Swiss Supply», was a guest of the member “Swiss Logistics by ASFL SVBL” in Rupperswil, Aargau, this year. «Swiss Supply»-President Jörg Mathis opened the fourth general meeting of the organization and welcomed the large number of people who attended. In Rupperswil, the minutes of the third general meeting on April 20, 2023, which took place at GS1 Switzerland in Bern, were unanimously approved.

New managing director

Andreas König, initiator and first director of «Swiss Supply», gave the scepter to his successor Marcus Hapig, who is now managing director of «Swiss Supply» acts, from. After more than 42 years of active time in the Swiss logistics industry, König will step back in the future and enjoy his life as a “private person”. König was officially farewelled at the AGM and honored for his commitment as «Swiss Supply»-Initiator acknowledged. König's successor Marcus Hapig has been managing director of member VNL Switzerland since 2018. Hapig carries out the additional office with a 20 percent workload.

Change in the board

At "Swiss Supply» There were also further personnel changes to be reported at the AGM: The two previous board members Brigitte Schönhoff and Prof. Dr. Herbert Ruile has resigned from the board. All other previous «Swiss Supply»Board members made themselves available at the AGM for the club's fourth year - and were all confirmed for another year. The current "Swiss Supply»- President Jörg Mathis is elected until the next general meeting in 2025. From then on, a new president will be elected on a rotating basis.

Two new partners

The outgoing «Swiss Supply» Director informed the members, partners, guests and media professionals present that the «Swiss Supply» organization currently has ten members and 21 cooperation partners. Last year, two new cooperation partners were added: “Employees Switzerland” and the “Swiss Shipper's Council”. The member with sponsorship status “Stiftung Logistik Schweiz” canceled its membership in 2023 on May 31, 2024 and will become a new cooperation partner of “from May 1, 2024.”Swiss Supply».

“Movement’32”

Furthermore, the “Swiss Supply»- President Jörg Mathis on the current status quo of the project or the movement «Movement'32». A “round table” with potentially up to 2024 of the largest cooperation partners is planned in Bern in autumn 30. Federal Councilor Albert Rösti was won as a prominent key speaker. As far as this round table is concerned, the current Movement'32 organizational committee expects it to provide the necessary financial and general support and hopes that this movement will definitely take off from 2025.
